My new charger will not charge up. I was able to fully charge it the first time, but now that it is down to one blue light instead of 5 I want to charge it. Nothing happens. Ugh!!

A couple of suggestions for you as well. Permit the charger to charge overnight. If charged via a computer via USB, older computers can take much longer. (Or better yet, charge from a wall outlet.)
While we have had issues with customers not understanding there are 3 phases to turn off the COB Light, this is the first we’ve seen that it will not properly charge.

Thanks jpinsupply for your reply! I did not get a wall charger with my device. I googled how to turn the light on because it wasn’t on the instructions, and saw all I needed to do was double click on and double click off. Works fine now. Now if I can just get it to charge.

Does’t come with a wall charger, only the cord. It’s a very common micro USB cord, and you might have another one (or two, or five) around the house. That would be another thing to test out and try.

The cover does not close over the battery pack – is it supposed to be that fat?

We are guessing you are speaking of the protective rubber tab on the sides? You can’t just push it in, it needs to be angled at the bottom and then slide your thumb (or finger) up.

I’m referring to the square silver pack that has wires attached to it. It’s thickness keeps popping the cover open and prevents the rubber tabs from closing as I slide my thumb up.
